Job summary


An exciting opportunity has arisen to work in a vibrant Occupational Therapy department within the orthopaedic team. This role will involve opportunities to work across both elective and trauma services.

You will be required to effectively and creatively carry a full case load without direct supervision whilst developing supervisory and project / service delivery skills. Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, Division and Occupational Therapy department.

You will be required to build on your existing orthopaedic and trauma knowledge and skills and support the Team Leader to expand and develop this service across elective and trauma.





Main duties of the job


Through working in a static orthopaedic role, there will be opportunities for learning non-clinical, managerial and leadership skills. The post holder will be expected to demonstrate excellent communication skills and alongside the multidisciplinary team, facilitate efficient discharges from the acute hospital.

You will be required to effectively and creatively carry a full case load without direct supervision whilst developing supervisory and project / service delivery skills.

Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team, Division and Occupational Therapy department.
